Just made a quick update to the races page. I'm definitely a better runner these days, thanks to better training (thank God for tracks!). Keeping breakfast to lowfat vanilla yogurt, water, and coffee certainly helped, too. Next time round (the Bronx Half), I think I'll halve the coffee and cut down on the cramps even further. It might be best to eliminate the coffee altogether, but that little extra bit of perkiness on race morning might be worth it.It did take Edison ten thousand tries to perfect the light bulb...

These entries have grown very infrequent of late, haven't they? Well, this blogger's got a life, believe it or not, and I've also been pecking away at "Bill's List" when I'm working on this site at all.Nice to see wrhammons.com slowly climbing the search engine listings. Don't know whether that has anything to do "Bill's List" (probably not) or the fact that Wes Clark is one of the final three being vetted for Kerry's veep spot (that's a more likely explanation...there's a link to the Unity site from the old Clark campaign site, and a link from the Unity site's "about" page to my site).
Just gave a thought to updating the "running" page with last week's Corporate Challenge effort, but then I remembered that I still need to sign up for this weekend's five-miler. I'll do the latter first and update that page when there's a new race performance to get exicted about ;-).

Wrapping up another week here (for some reason, it feels like I'm the only Manhattanite not in the Hamptons already...this skyful of sunshine at five doesn't help matters).Made a small addition to "Bill's List"...I seem to have found a nice research routine. I was very amused to find out during a conversation with a publicist that he thought the title "Bill's List" had been inspired by "Craig's List." Very amusing (though of course we all know that people use CL for things other than hooking up, right? ;-)) I'll say it now...if any romances ever sprout from "Bill's List," I'd love to hear about them...

Whew, what a week. Sat out 2.5 days of jury duty ending Tuesday, and didn't even get interviewed once. Well, at least I fulfilled my civic duty for the next four years...Thanks for the responses regarding my "sitewarming party" e-mail...remains to be seen if "Bill's List" catches on. Might help if I get into a regular routine of fleshing it out with titles repped by the listed agents.
But that's for next week. This evening, it's about wrapping up things at work and headin' home. Started watching the first episode of Star Trek Voyager last night...def has potential, unlike DS9...I made it halfway through the first season of that series, then deleted the rest from my Netflix queue.
But I'm going on about nothing. Cheers.
