42:02 Bolder Boulder
Yep, so yesterday wasn't my best running day. I really didn't feel that tapped when I crossed the finish line, and my recent 3:15 Boston seems to argue against the possibility that age is starting to catch up with me.
I think my resulting time is more a product of my state of mind than the state of my body - I've got a sense of been-there-done-that, and frankly I really don't care as much these days what my times are for race distances that I've already run multiple times. All of which, from what I've read recently, seems to be the typical mind-set of a budding ultramarathoner.
On to Le Grizz in October, with maybe a few shorter races on the way...

5 o'clock in the morning
Yep, 5 o'clock on a Saturday morning might seem like a strange time to be blogging, but I got up early to get some coffee (black) and milk (low fat) in the system well before my 8 o'clock race, so I'm killing a little time before I kill a little time and head down to the Flatirons Mall.
This will be my Bolder Boulder Qualifier, so wish me luck...
