The Town of Firestone, Colorado was incorporated in 1908, and could claim the first post office, lumber store, and saloon in the area.
Today Firestone is a comprehensively planned community midway between Denver and Fort
Collins. Firestone has spectacular views of the Rockies, over 35 parks and over 12 miles of trails including the Firestone Trail, which
provides a pedestrian connection with the regional St. Vrain Legacy Trail and the Colorado Front Range Trail system. I-25, which runs just
west of town, was recently connected with the E-470 Beltway, providing direct access to Denver International Airport.
