Christopher James "Chris" Christie (born September 6, 1962) is the current Governor of New Jersey. Upon his election to the Governorship in November 2009, Christie became the first Republican to win a statewide election in New Jersey in 12 years. Christie previously served as United States Attorney for the District of New Jersey. He resides in Mendham Township, New Jersey, having chosen not to move his family into Drumthwacket, the official Governor's mansion.

When asked in September 2010 by Don Imus about a possible Presidential run, Christie responded, "No way. No way." Despite Christie's reluctance (and his 300-pound weight, which was mocked by his 2009 Gubernatorial election opponent and continues to be raised as a factor by pundits), the draftchristie2012.com website, as of December 2010, had an Alexa.com ranking of 2,377,169 (a considerably better ranking than, say, draftcheney2012.com).
