US Senate Committee on the Judiciary

The Committee on the Judiciary's jurisdiction includes conducting hearings prior to the Senate votes on whether to confirm prospective federal judges nominated by the President (including Supreme Court Justices), matters relating to federal criminal law, and all proposed Constitutional Amendments.
