BILL HAMMONS' GUIDE TO COLORADO FOURTEENERS

Fourteeners in Colorado's Tenmile Range

Colorado's Tenmile Range of mountains is an extension of the Mosquito Range, which is in turn a subrange of the Rockies. The two ranges are considered the same by many, and are separated only by the Continental Divide (The Tenmile is west of the Divide, and the Mosquito east of the Divide). The two ranges are sometimes referred to as the Tenmile-Mosquito Range of mountains. There are ten peaks in the range, numbers seven through 10 of which are serviced by lifts within the Breckenridge Ski Area. Quandary Peak is Tenmile's only Fourteener.

The Tenmile Range's Fourteeners include:

  • Quandary Peak
