Expected Electoral College Changes

The Electoral College votes apportioned to each state will change in 2012 based on the 2010 Census, and the likely changes are as follows (per electiondataservices.com):



Texas +4 (34 to 38 Electoral College votes)
Arizona +2 (10 to 12 Electoral College votes)
Florida + 1 (27 to 28 Electoral College votes)
Georgia +1 (15 to 16 Electoral College votes)
Nevada +1 (5 to 6 Electoral College votes)
North Carolina +1 (15 to 16 Electoral College votes)
Oregon +1 (7 to 8 Electoral College votes)
South Carolina +1 (8 to 9 Electoral College votes)
Utah +1 (5 to 6 Electoral College votes)
Ohio -2 (20 to 18 Electoral College votes)
California - 1 (55 to 54 Electoral College votes)
Illinois - 1 (21 to 20 Electoral College votes)
Iowa - 1 (7 to 6 Electoral College votes)
